What’s all the hoot about?

Thank goodness I can draw because I’m not always the greatest at putting things into words.

There was a certainty I always had tugging at my heart. I knew I was drawn to the complexity of hyperrealistic art - where each layer tangles itself into the next, only to be revealed in it’s truest form at the end. Becoming engulfed in the details of my work, I feel like my authentic self at this moment. The certainty pulling at me, I knew I wanted to be an artist.

Painted Beak is based in Wollongong, Australia, where I like to find inspiration in the birds and the landscapes. Each artwork takes hours upon days to create because this level of detail requires me to put a piece of myself into each finished product. My hope is that these detailed paintings of nature, and portraits of your loved ones - furry or human - allow you to solidify a moment in time and cherish it forever.
