Let me tell you about my custom hand-made portraits! You will get a lovely and unique realistic hand-drawn artwork drawn from your photos using coloured pencils.
I will draw a beautiful, realistic portrait of SOMEONE SPECIAL in coloured pencils on lovely thick paper, and coat it with a light spray varnish. I need good photos for this, so grab your camera and take some gorgeous shots, or dig up those old favourites that disappeared deep in your phone.

HOW IS IT MADE?
1. I'll edit the image in photoshop if required.
2. Image proportions are transferred onto the drawing paper using a lightbox and lead pencil.
3. Major colour sections are applied with a light watercolour wash.
4. Once dry, lead pencil lines are erased.
6. Coloured pencil layers are applied lightly, and blended with solvent, a brush and a blending stump, then allowed to dry.
7. More layers are added until the perfect colour is achieved.
8. Final textures are applied and burnished.
9. A high-quality photo is taken (Nikon D3500 18-55mm), which I can send to you.
9. 1-3 coats of gloss spray varnish are applied lightly to seal the surface of the paper, ensuring the colours remain vibrant over time, and nothing is smudged or dulled in transit :)
10. Then I will pack it flat with lightweight foamcore board and cellophane wrap to keep it protected for direct post or hand-delivery and you get to keep it! :)

SIZE: Each drawing is drawn on A3 paper: 297 x 420mm / 11.7 x 16.5 inch
FRAMING: Framing not included, but this fits easily into an A3 frame with an A4 matting, or the white border can be trimmed off to fit snugly into a standard 8x12 inch frame.
PAPER: 310gsm acid-free cold pressed mix media paper. This texture has a slight texture to it and is thick to avoid buckling.
