Please note that the blurry photos in my gallery on this page are from 2009-2010, and the quality of my flip-phone camera was awful compared to today's phone cameras. All these portraits sold at my first exhibition so I don't have any more recent photos either, but hopefully they are clear enough that you can see that I was good at portraits even then. in the past 10 years, I have only improved more, having since completed a Diploma of Fine Art, exhibited twice, and have run my art business going on 3 years, and spent the whole COVID lockdown at my desk painting. I pride myself in realism, so if you would like an artwork of anyone done for you, please let me do it, so I can have some new pictures to add to my repertoire!! <3<3 It benefits me greatly for them to look perfect, so you can rest assured that I am motivated to do the best job I possibly can! HOW IS IT MADE?
1. I'll edit the image in photoshop if required.
2. Image proportions are transferred onto the drawing paper using a lightbox and lead pencil.
3. Major colour sections are applied with a light watercolour wash.
4. Once dry, lead pencil lines are erased.
6. Coloured pencil layers are applied lightly, and blended with solvent, a brush and a blending stump, then allowed to dry.
7. More layers are added until the perfect colour is achieved.
8. Final textures are applied and burnished.
9. A high-quality photo is taken (Nikon D3500 18-55mm), which I can send to you.
9. 1-3 coats of gloss spray varnish are applied lightly to seal the surface of the paper, ensuring the colours remain vibrant over time, and nothing is smudged or dulled in transit :)
10. Then I will pack it flat with lightweight foamcore board and cellophane wrap to keep it protected for direct post or hand-delivery and you get to keep it! :)

FRAMING: Framing not included, but this fits easily into an A3 frame with an A4 matting, or the white border can be trimmed off to fit snugly into a standard 8x12 inch frame.
